NOKB GP milestones

Design-engineering department intended for geophysical systems development was established in Megion as a department of Production Geophysical Enterprise "Tyumenpromgeophysika" (PGO TPG). It employs specialists from the entire country, including experts from Nivosibirsk Academgorodok.

Novosibisk branch of PGO TPG is opened, forming the third instrument-making division along with Tyumen and Kiev departments.

By 2002 Novosibirsk department forms a juridical entity, taking the name "Novosibirsk Development Bureau of Geophysicl equipment" by 2003. By this time research and development become the principal direction of company's activity. By year 2004 R&D take 60% of company's effort, while the rest 40% go for production. The company introduces Geophysical Logging Systems, Geothechnological Studies Equipment, C/O content transducers, sensors and controllers, and sets them for production.

NOKB Production and administration building construction started, it is to be completed by the end of this year. Digital telemetry and data acquisition technologies are introduced, production of Chromatographs is started. Mathematical Modelling department is formed, providing the movement to the new, improved level of geophysical equipment development.

Production and administration building construction moves to its final stage. Certification department is formed, all products of NOKB are certified.
