MEGA-MAKS is a hardware/software system for automated well logging in oil and gas wells.
General description
Geophysical well logging system MEGA-MAKS is a modern computer-controlled hardware/software complex, designed for geophysical well survey in oil and gas wells. Its universality and usability are its primary virtues. Considering MEGA-MAKS as a system, we regard it as an automatic control system for geophysical logging, composed of a set of workstations incorporated into general infrastructure of logging technology.

The logging system development was carried out on the request from TPG Company (Tyumenpromgeophysika). The group of companies had produced 200 MEGA Logging Systems within 7 years, and then this system was selected as a prototype for MEGA-MAKS Logging System.
Serial production of MEGA-MAKS Logging Systems has started in 2005. 65 full-version systems have been produced.
The logging system development and maintenance is provided by NOKB (Novosibirsk Geophysical Equipment Development Bureau) and experiment-methodical crew of TPG Company (Tyumenpromgeophisika).
